Sour lemon contest

Mom brought a whole bunch or lemons with her, so while she and Annie were here we had a sour lemon contest. We face timed with Chris, and he was the official judge. Molly was the overall winner, but we all made pretty sour faces!

Mother's Day

Chris was still on sabbatical, but we had a great Mother's Day with Annie and Grandma.
Chris arranged some flowers for me, I do love a pretty bouquet of flowers.

After church we did a puzzle.
Made some delicious dinner.
And a big fort.

Its hard to get a nice picture of these crazy girls.

And some more pictures from my phone.

Grandma Berta and Annie visit

By May Chris' sabbatical was really starting to take its toll on us. My patience was shot, and I was tired. Mom and Annie drove up to visit and help us get to the end. We were SOOO grateful to them!
Grandma's best helper.

This tea party was actually before Mom and Annie came. I did have my moments of still being a good mom. Each girl got their own little box of chocolate. They thought it was so fun.

Tea Party with Grandma Berta.

They were certainly my saviors there at the end, and I love them for it.

Molly loves to help Grandma with her make-up. She would sort the entire bag saying, "this is wores (yours), this is mine."

Caitlin's piano recital

Caitlin has really enjoyed her first year of piano lessons and has improved a lot.
She had her first piano recital last night and did a great job!

One of her best friends, Camden, takes piano from the same teacher. They are always excited to see each other.
A whole bunch of Will and Smith goof-balls.

April's Wedding

Monday we ladies loaded up in the van and headed to Utah for April's wedding! So exciting!!

She was a beautiful bride! It was so emotional seeing her walk down the isle and get married.
Ryan and April

We snagged her for a quick group shot. (Too bad only 4 of us still live in Rock Springs)

We went back a few hours later for the reception at the same venue. It was an old barn and both the wedding and reception were so beautiful. Congratulations to April. I am so happy for her.

Spring Soccer

We are in full soccer mode- well, except that half of the practices/games have been canceled because of bad weather.
Thursdays are crazy because both of the girls practice, so we are at the field for many hours. I packed dinner and we had to eat in the car because the weather was so bad. We added a couple of friends, Lola and Ella, to eat with us. Party in the van!!

One soccer practice we just hung out in the van because this little girl DID NOT feel well at all.

Games

Ashlee is improving and liking soccer more all the time. (I, sadly, have no video of Caitlin)

April- having fun and passing the time

Some of our other pictures from April.

I made this and the girls spent an hour or two climbing through it. They thought it was so much fun! Next time I would make it a little easier.

Molly loves to help with everything. This was her first time washing dishes and it may now be her favorite thing to help with.

The girls have been such good helpers while Chris has been gone. They all pitch in to get the house clean. This night we played that they were all Cinderella and I was the evil step-mom. They thought it was about the most fun ever.
