I got to see the show last night because Chris' parents were so kind and watched the girls overnight for us- thanks! Chris did great and looked a little different.
He played Mary Sunshine and dressed in drag! And he sang sooooo high- much higher than I can sing. It was fun/funny/entertaining to watch him. The audience loved him and how high he could sing.
Tonight I took the girls into a back door of the theater building so they could see Chris in costume, and then we went back to the hotel to bed. I told them that daddy would look different because he would be wearing a costume. He was walking up and down the hallway where we walked in and they walked right by him. They did not recognize him at all! Then he said, "Hi girls." Caitlin covered her hand over her mouth and took a few steps back and Ashlee just starred. They couldn't believe that was him. Then they thought it was so funny that he was dressed up in a girl costume. Ashlee loved that he was wearing high heels. But they were quick to point out that he would just look like daddy again when he came back to the hotel.
They did a great job on his make-up, but I think he makes a much better looking man than woman :)

AH HAHAHA....breathe....ahhahaha. Awesome. Oh my gosh. Awesome. He's not very pretty though - but that's a good thing right?!!
AHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!
I love it! I agree that he makes a better looking man then a woman!
sorry we missed it Chris but then again I am kind of glad that we did ewe!
Thats too funny. We both also think Chris makes a better looking guy than gal. The show was probably great with that pretty face in it.
I'm not going to lie to you, I may not have recognized him at first either. Keep practicing Chris so I can hear your song next time I see you. :)
Wow. I wouldn't have recognized him either. Wish I could have seen the show!
Where is the video/audio clip?? We want to hear that high singing voice. Tessa said she almost didn't recognize him either, Tyler said he makes a great Mrs. Sunshine. Hilarious. But, Chris, what a great experience. Way to keep up those skills...
