A Few Firsts

Today was Molly's first time having braids in her hair. It was a little tricky getting her to sit still, but it worked.

We got a new, much bigger, tent for Christmas, and Chris and Caitlin set it up today and everyone is sleeping in it tonight. (everyone except me, I am opting for the bed).

Soccer

Caitlin and Ashlee are playing soccer this spring for the first time.

They are both really liking it, and we are liking watching them.\

Ashlee's team has won and few and lost a few, but has gotten TONS better.

Ashlee even scored a goal last game!

The game I took my camera was pretty cold, and windy. Molly and Caitlin and their friend, Ella jumped around before the game to get warm.

Caitlin has really been loving soccer and has really improved each week. Chris is one of the assistant coaches and has really enjoyed that.

Utah

Yesterday we went to Utah to attend a wedding.

Our first we stop was to my Grandpa Garrett's grave.

 While Chris and I went to the wedding my Uncle Dean and Aunt Angie watched the girls. We are so grateful to them for watching them, and the girls had so much fun! They are alot of fun; and have a great, kid friendly, yard! Angie was running an errand so we missed her in the picture.

After the wedding, at the Draper Temple, we picked the girls up and took them to the reception.
CJ and Aurora were both Chris' students and Aurora babysat the girls on several occasions. They love her and thought she looked so beautiful (which she did).

Theater Lessons

Chris has been having the girls help him with some things for his summer class, and giving them theater lessons. They love it and eat it up!

And their lesson about action and thought targets. Ashlee went also, but I didn't get a picture. And, Molly took a turn as well.

FHE

Chris did a great FHE lesson for us tonight.

We started playing Rummikub, but only Chris and I knew how to play.

Caitlin and Ashlee kept saying, "how do you play this?"

"what are the rules"

"how many do we take"

"can I do this"

"I don't know what to do"

"this is hard"

The lesson was that the commandments are like rules from God and it is hard to live our lives if we don't know the commandments and follow them.

Westridge Carnival

Tonight was the annual Westridge Carnival. This was our third year attending and it is so much fun for the kids.

Chris was at WWCC graduation, so the girls and I went alone.

I only took 2 pictures because it was a lot of work keeping up with Molly!

But we made the two pictures count!

Mother's Day

Our day wasn't as smooth as we would have hoped for, but that's part of motherhood!
Instead of them taking care and pampering me today, I took care of 3 sick girls- with LOTS of help from 1 great dad!

I love these three beauties and am so proud and happy and lucky and blessed to be their mom.

Meditation

Pretty Princess

This little girl loves to play dress ups now.

She dumps the dress ups out on the floor everyday looking for shoes, a purse, and usually a skirt.
