Random September

The girls discovered the game of Life, and we love playing it.

Ashlee was home, sick from school. Luckily Molly could keep her company.

Molly is 3 1/2 and FINALLY old enough to sit still and listen at story time at the library.

I got free tickets from work to a Guess Who concert at the fairgrounds. They are an old band, so we didn't know many songs, but we had a great time. We love date nights.

Chris shaved his beard. I think its his first clean shaven face in years. It only lasted this day.

The Steven's moved to Star Valley last year and came to Rock Springs for the day. We were so excited to see them, and the girls were in heaven playing (they sure miss Alayna and Brylen). We all went to Cafe Rio for dinner.

Random from July

In July we also went to one evening of the National High School Rodeo Finals. There were 2 areas to watch from where we were sitting, so there was a lot going on.

We had the annual Gateway Ward summer BBQ where Chris and Scott Donaldson got stuck cooking hamburgers and hot dogs the WHOLE time. Part of the territory when you are in the bishopric.

Caitlin got braces. She has no room in her mouth for her teeth now, and will have less when she gets her permanent teeth, so they are working on making some room.

The girls love being outside, and were playing with a water feature that Caitlin got for her birthday on this particular day.

Caitlin, Molly and I attended the Big Show parade in Rock Springs. This was our first time every attending this parade since we have lived here. They through out tons of candy, and it was very hot. But we had a good time.

I made this and the girls spent an hour or two climbing through it. They thought it was so much fun! Next time I would make it a little easier.

Molly loves to help with everything. This was her first time washing dishes and it may now be her favorite thing to help with.

The girls have been such good helpers while Chris has been gone. They all pitch in to get the house clean. This night we played that they were all Cinderella and I was the evil step-mom. They thought it was about the most fun ever.

A few last pictures from February.

The girls got some new clothes from both Grandma's!

Molly loves to help in the kitchen and wear her chef's hat and (usually) her apron.

And Caitlin and Ashlee spent one day at a friend's house while I was a work. They did play make-up and looked.......interesting. I'm glad we won't do make-up for several more years at least.

first week of February

I love when the girls play dress-up! It was one of my favorite things to do when I was little as well.

We had a lot of nice weather and the girls sat on the curb eating their snacks.

On our way to Utah to pick up Grandma Berta we hit 100000 miles. We have put ALOT of miles on our van in the 3 years we have had it with our many trips to places like Arizona, California, South Dakota, Colorado and Texas.
