New House

We decided it was time to have a little more space to live in, and we decided to have our friend, Brook Smith with Mainline build a new house for us! We were super excited to look at plans, and pick some and work with Brook to make the plans our own and what we wanted.

After everything was ready they started digging!

Digging started September 18th and we went to the site nearly everyday to see the progress.

Random September

The girls discovered the game of Life, and we love playing it.

Ashlee was home, sick from school. Luckily Molly could keep her company.

Molly is 3 1/2 and FINALLY old enough to sit still and listen at story time at the library.

I got free tickets from work to a Guess Who concert at the fairgrounds. They are an old band, so we didn't know many songs, but we had a great time. We love date nights.

Chris shaved his beard. I think its his first clean shaven face in years. It only lasted this day.

The Steven's moved to Star Valley last year and came to Rock Springs for the day. We were so excited to see them, and the girls were in heaven playing (they sure miss Alayna and Brylen). We all went to Cafe Rio for dinner.

Some random pictures from November.

This girl had an overwhelming lack of camera time this month, compared to her sisters, but she was still around and cute as ever!!

Our good friends, the Steven's, moved away to Star Valley. They came over for dinner on their last night in Rock Springs and we got a picture of all the girls. Molly and Brylen were the cutest little friends and the older girls loved playing with Alayna. We were sad to see them go. After we said goodbye and they left, Caitlin and Ashlee cried and cried and cried. It's always sad when your friends move away.

Westridge had its second annual Turkey Trot at the mall and Molly and I headed over to walk with Ashlee. She was so excited to see us, because we were a couple of minutes late.

Westridge Hoe-Down

We attended the Westridge fall hoe-down for the 2nd year in a row. We were a little late because Caitlin and Ashlee had swimming lessons, but we still had plenty of time to eat pie and DANCE IT OUT!

Applesauce weekend

G&G Will were here this weekend for our 7th annual applesauce making.

It was fun, and turned out as delicious as always!!!

Texas Trip- Part 5

After the reunion we spent Saturday and Sunday with David, Julie, Bailey, Maddie and Lily. We were so glad they were willing to put up with us even though I am sure they were exhausted from being in charge of the reunion. 

Molly was buddies with everyone at this reunion (its about time), and she especially liked Julie.

 Sunday was Father's Day and these Dad's got breakfast in bed and their favorite treats!

 I didn't take many pictures but the girls all loved playing together, we went to a splash pad/park, David and Chris had real Texas BBQ (my stomach was still unsettled) and we just had fun!!


Monday we headed back to Katie, Ryan, Cody and Isaac's house. (there are more pictures because I was feeling better)
We didn't get to play the shake-it game at the reunion, so we played it at their house. You have ping-pong balls in a Kleenex box tied behind your back and you have to try to shake them out.

We had a pretty extensive hair doing party. First Katie did all the girls hair then the kids did our hair.

Katie got out all her doll stuff from when she was little and they all had a blast dressing and undressing all babies or animals they could find. (and Molly really liked Cody's cowboy boots).

Monday night we met up with our cousin and her family for Texas BBQ. 

That's right, the real stuff is served at a gas station!!

All joking aside, it was a fun restaurant with very good food! Those Texan's know how to BBQ!!

While with Katie we also went to Sam Moon and spent a couple of hours searching for the perfect purse! And played lots of games and ate Blue Bell ice cream- yum!

Our whole Texas trip was so fun, and we were sad- but ready- to go back home.

School HoeDown

The PTO at our elementary school does 1 family night each quarter. Tonight was a hoedown, and the girls were so excited about it. And, it turned out soooooo fun.

The gym was set up for dancing and they had a DJ and everything.

The girls loved dancing, especially Caitlin.

It was so dark, so these pictures aren't good, but oh well.

The majority of the time we spent in the gym dancing. Chris and I even danced with the girls from time to time. It was a fun night!
