sister summer outfits

Grandma and Grandpa Will came last weekend.  We had a great time, although we lack pictures to prove it.
Grandma Will made some cute summer outfits for the girls, entitled "girl bugs."
Caitlin and Ashlee have bags that match theirs, which we didn't get a picture of (recurring theme)
 Molly's is a cute dress.
Ashlee was so excited to wear hers to her Bear's class.

Caitlin was equally excited to wear hers to school.

Thank you for your hard work Grandma!

Some of Our Randomness

We are loving our little Molly.  This was one of her cute new little outfits.
Dad is the best at getting Molly to take a nap in the evenings.  Sometimes that nap is with him!
Saturday the 14th was family free day at WWCC.  The girls enjoyed the little activities and both got their faces painted like cats.  (we had to hurry and take a picture before Caitlin cleaned it all off her face)
Getting ready for church Sunday morning.
April 15th was Molly's first day going to church.  She just went to sacrament meeting and slept threw the whole thing.

1 Month!

Molly is one month old today!
She is still a very content baby.
She is much more awake and aware and likes to look at her Mom.
She likes to be where ever the rest of us are.
She likes to be swaddled but still likse to have her hands by her face when she is awake.
She eats every 3-4 hrs at night and about 3 during the day.
She only cries if she is hungry and occasionally tired.
She can take a bottle, which we give to her once every 3 or 4 days.

We love everything about this little girl and are so thankful to have her in our house.

bath time

Molly had her first official bath on April 13th.
She likes taking a bath and is happy as can be except if Mom makes the water to cold- whoops.

Our sweet babe

Molly didn't get much picture time in the previous posts because she didn't really participate in any of the activities, but she has plenty of her own pictures to share.

I wrap Molly up tight in a blanket when she sleeps, but she loves to have her hands out and tries to pull them back out.  Sometimes she succeeds and then she sleeps with them up by her face.

I didn't have newborn pics taken, but I snapped a few so I could at least have a good one to hang in our room.  This is my favorite.  Grandma Will knitted her cute hat.

We all love to hold her, especially Caitlin.  She also it pretty content to lay on a blanket and look around a bit.  She has been a pretty content baby overall, mostly just crying when she is hungry.  She lets out a pretty good snort sometimes when she cries.  During the day I am feeding her every 2-3.5 hrs and every 3-4.5hrs at night.

I love, love, love when babies stretch.  I love how small their arms are in comparison to their heads.  So cute!

We have been practicing short little periods of tummy time.

We aren't going to be blessing her for a few more weeks, but we tried her dress on anyway.  My sister, Katie, made the dress and bonnet and an adorable slip that goes under it.  We love the dress, Katie!!  Thank you for making it for Molly!!!

I forgot Katie made a bonnet for the dress so I bought a white flower, but the flower will still get plenty of use with 3 girls.
We love this little girls thick neck and 3 chins!  They are great for kissing on.
And we love her sweet face.  Her eyes are dark blue, like her sisters were, and they seem to be lightening up all the time.

Easter

We had a great Easter at home this year, made even better because Annie came to visit!!!
Caitlin and Ashlee love when Annie comes and this time Ashlee even seemed to get a little confused at who was who.  Even today she told me that I look like Annie, which I do.  (Although I don't think we look as much a like right now since I have a bunch of baby weight to lose and she doesn't)

Our egg dying went like this
2:02pm start dying easter eggs
2:04pm Caitlin says "Ashlee you can't dye them all!!!
Ashlee dyed probably 12 of the 18eggs in just 2 minutes!  She wanted those eggs in and out of the color as fast as she could do it.  It was a fun, albeit short, event.

Annie played outside with the girls and went on walks with them.  This instance Ashlee was running down to block to see our friends who live on the corner.  She would carry the shovel in one hand, then switch to the other hand once she was tired, then carry it over her head with both hands when she was tired again.

Another time she was riding her scooter around the block and she stopped and told Annie that her leg was tired.  Annie told her to switch legs.  So she did, and then she said she would switch arms too.  So then she was riding her scooter with her arms crossed to the opposite handlebars.  We never have a dull moment with her!
Caitlin is awesome at riding her bike, and she would do it every waking hour if she could.

All the Easter Baskets waiting to be looked at.  After Molly was born we got some beautiful flowers inside this duck.  I didn't have a basket for Molly, so she got to have the duck as her basket this year.
Caitlin and Ashlee got sandals from Grandma and Grandpa Bishop and were so excited to wear them to church.
We have been 2 different places that had mustaches to buy from the 25cent machine in the past 2 weeks, and both times Ashlee has asked Chris if she could please have a mustache.  So they got them in their Easter baskets.  Ashlee wasn't that thrilled about sticking it to her face and the pain or pulling it back off, so I think she is over her mustache fetish now.

Finding Easter eggs.  We didn't get new dresses this year, so they wore their dresses from last year.

Chris and Molly were fighting head colds, so we had a quiet Easter dinner at home by ourselves.  It was delicious.  Caitlin loved the ham most of all (well, maybe 2nd to the rolls) and Ashlee loved the deviled eggs.

Deprived No Longer

Today we took our girls bowling for the first time, I know we have totally deprived them!  However, Ashlee told us she already knew how to bowl because the Wii had taught her, so I guess technically we really have been bowling before.

2 excited girls

I love Ashlee's bowling stance!
After a few times Ashlee started bowling on her own without help.  It didn't work so well.
See in the picture how it looks like her ball has stopped?  Well, it probably had.  It was a miracle when it actually made it to the pins, and it stopped at different points in the lane multiple times and the guy and to come and get it.  So then she started having help again.

Caitlin did a great job all by herself.

Chris and Annie were the other bowlers, and I was the watcher.  I still have a 10lb weight restriction from the hernia repair and bowling balls are a bit to heavy.  So we will have to go again once I can actually lift the weight.

A couple of pictures after a well bowled game.

decorated

I didn't take the time getting out the Easter decorations this year, but we had some home made art decorating the house instead.

When Grandma Berta and Grandpa Brucester were here the girls made the biggest pictures in the whole world just like Romona in the Romona and Beezus movie.

During spring break the girls helped me make this 3-D egg.  Actually they helped for a few minutes and then started being cheerleaders with the little strips of paper.  I asked Caitlin if they were going to help me and she said, "Is it alright if you just do it by yourself Mommy?"  So I did.

Caitlin had some cute things she brought home from school.

The girls colored and made backpack clips that G and G Will sent them, another thing done during spring break.

Also during spring break the girls made a little fort to watch a movie and eat lunch.

And lastly, the girls made fingerprint pussy willows.
So our house had a lot of homemade art work hung here and there which was festive enough for us this year.

Sisters

Grandma and Grandpa Will sent the girls sister shirts.
Caitlin's says biggest sister, Ashlee's says big sister, and Molly's says little sister.
We love having 3 girls! Caitlin and Ashlee play so well together and hopefully they will lovingly include their littler sister when she gets a little older.
In this picture Molly looks a lot like Caitlin did as a baby.
Molly went for a 2 week check today and now weighs 8lbs 3oz and is 21inches long.  We found out she has an umbilical hernia which is causing her to have a major outtie belly button.  The hernia should resolve itself by the time she is 2yrs old.
