Sinks Canyon
Yesterday we took a trip up to Sinks Canyon near Lander. We had never been there before and it was really cool.
The river is raging and then enters the rock and trickles underground somewhere under the rock for miles, twisting and turning until it seeps back above ground less then a mile from the spot it went in the rock.
The spot the river seeps back out is very calm and full of minerals. It attracts fish that just stay there and feed and are humongous. We took this picture from a balcony high above them. They were huge.
Dinner time family selfie.
Caitlin is a climber and somehow she climbed up on top of this buffalo. She didn't have a way to get down and just had to slide and we had to catch her. She is fearless and agile.

Visit from great friends and other things
Eating peanuts with friend, Ella, during a play date.
Friday nights was Relay for Life. All of the staff from the Cancer Center went to support the community. Its pictures like this that make me realize how tall I am, I'm a giant. I really enjoy working in Medical Oncology and administering chemotherapy. The ladies I work most closely with, Alisa and Dawn, are great to work with. We have a lot of fun and laugh alot.
Friday night the Ransom's were driving through and stopped at our house for the night!!! We love them and miss them so much. Iowa is to far away. The good old days were when we lived right above them in New York. We had a great time catching up, and stayed up way to late, but we had to since we only see each other every 3 years or so!
The girls had a big slumber party upstairs.
Tessa, Tyler, Eden, Caitlin, Ansley, Molly, Eli, Ashlee
The Will's and the Ransom's
Caitlin and Eden are the same age, and have been friends since they were a couple of months old. I had to add some pictures of the 2 of them when they were smaller.
After the Ransom's hit the road, we headed down to the Gorge for a day at the lake. The Brewster's had some paddle boards that were fun.
And happy Father's Day today to the best Dad ever. These girls adore him!

Colorado- Part 2
Thursday we went back to Denver to go to the National History Museum. It was a lot of fun and they had a lot of neat exhibits.
They had an interactive kid area that was a big hit. And it was in this area that Molly wet her pants, she was having to much fun to tell us she had to go to the bathroom. Luckily, we had an extra pair of shorts in the van that she could wear.
I quite like the area of taxidermy animals, which is weird because taxidermy in peoples homes gives me the creeps. Caitlin and Ashlee had Paul Taylor visit in their school this fall, and every class was given an Australian animal name. Caitlin's class were the koalas and Ashlee's class were the platypus.
After the museum we went to Casa Bonita for lunch. The food was disgusting, but the atmosphere is very kid friendly. They loved watching the cliff divers and exploring the caves.
We spent a couple of days at Nate and Amy's house. We had a lot of fun hanging out and also seeing Boulder.
Saturday we headed back to Loveland and played some golf with large golf balls and clubs, and hung out at the house.
