4th of July

We drove over to Bear Lake to spend the day at the beach for the 4th of July. Going to Bear Lake is one of our favorite things to do in the summer (since we first started going last summer). There were mobs of people, but we got there early and staked out our own piece of beach and had a great time. We got there around 9, our friends, the Philo's, joined us around noon and we stayed until about 5. It was a blast. And no one got sun burned, which was an added bonus.
The lake was very full. We had to wade through thigh deep water to get to the little island of sand. The water we waded through was very warm, but very stagnant and gross. Molly thought it felt like a warm bathtub and loved playing and laying in it. Yuck.

Once we got home we showered and vegged until it was time for the fireworks. We were all exhausted, but we love fireworks so we stayed up for them.
There were a couple of fires on White Mountain, so we watched many fire shows.

Happy 4th!
