6 month sats

Molly had her 6 month appointment this week and here is where she falls

• weight- 15lbs 12oz (35th percentile)
• length- 27.25inches (92nd percentile)
• head- 17.25inches (70ish percentile)

She was mostly fine.  She has a little pearl cyst on her bottom gums that should go away once her teeth come in and her hips are clicking, so she will have an ultrasound on Monday to investigate further.  We are hopeful that it is nothing to be concerned about.

She swang last week for the first time.  She didn't act to excited about it, but didn't cry either.  So I think she liked it.

We even got a slight smile here.

She is AWESOME at sitting up now.  She can sit forever- well until she tips over.  She does still loose her balance on occasion.

Caitlin still loves to hold her and play with her.  She is very helpful, especially when I am held up for a little bit.

 She likes sitting in her highchair, but hates the food.

 She makes terrible faces, spits it out, clamps her mouth shut, or turns the other way.  Feeding this girl real food is NOT going well at all.

She just HATES it.  We took a break for a week and then tried again with just rice cereal and breast milk, super runny.  She still hates it.

I am hoping that something will spark her interest soon.  We make applesauce next weekend, maybe she will like that?
