Bountiful Basket

We have participated in a produce co-op here for a few years called Bountiful Basket.

It comes every other week and we always buy a basket if we are in town.

My favorite thing about it is the surprise of fruits and vegetables that come each time.  We get plenty of "normal" produce but also lots of things we have never tried before.

Yesterday we got papaya and persimmon.  Both are fruits we have never had before.

In the past we have tried jicama, daikon, kale, a variety of peppers, eggplant, pumello, and many other things I can't recall.
We also tried, and found out that we love, brussel sprouts.
We love produce and love the variety we get in our basket.
